Our Name...it's inspiration

Young Eric Blanchet with his pet talking crow, Tony.
As a boy, Eric had a pet crow named Tony.  Eric and his brothers had several crows, but Tony made the headlines!  Eric taught him to say a few words and phrases like “Hello”, “Don’t fall”, “Play ball”.  Eric was his favorite companion, so he often flew alongside the school bus to the elementary school that Eric attended. While he was in class, the special needs children had their recess. One autistic boy in particular would feed Cheetos to Tony.  Tony would say the words he knew to the boy.  This became a regular patten for them. The boy began to teach Tony a few things like how to count to 10 and say the ABC's. Through this exchange the boy began to talk more with others. The news of Tony spread through the area, and he became known as Tony, the Talking Crow.
