WHY WE STARTED

We always planned to roast coffee. We never planned to become a specialty decaf roaster. But after our eighth baby, my body said no more caffeine — and the only decaf I could find tasted like cardboard and was soaked in chemicals to boot. Meanwhile Eric was over there enjoying beautiful single-origin espresso. No thank you.

So we did the only reasonable thing for a family our size: we started roasting our own…
