Organic Huila Coffee cultivation from small family-owned farms is the backbone of production in Colombia. This traceable community blend with a vibrant regional profile comes from 64 producers with small farms in the municipality of Pitalito within the department of Huila which lends this coffee to a rich complexity of flavors. Each producer has their own micro-mill where they carefully harvest cherries, de-pulp, ferment, wash and gently dry the parchment on raised beds.  This coffee is certified organic.

Acidity: Bright

Aroma: Sweet and fruity

Body: Medium

Milling Process: Washed

Tasting Notes: Strawberry, Orange Blossom, Butterscotch

Special Features: Fair Trade Organic

The growing altitude for the Colombia Huila is 1,950 meters above sea level. The varietals are Castillo and Caturra.  It has two harvest periods: October - February and May - August.
