What Defines This Coffee

ORIGIN STORY

From the Cajamarca region of Peru, high in the Andes at 1250–1700 meters. Peru is the 9th largest coffee producer in the world and one of the leading producers of organic and Fair Trade certified coffees. The altitude, shade of the Andean forests, and volcanic soil create ideal conditions for clean, complex Arabica. This lot is certified Fair Trade Organic, Grade 1.

A real good satisfying tasting coffee. Very smooth and no over powering flavors that last to the bottom of the cup. Low acidity.

Wonderful dessert coffee

We especially enjoy this after dinner. Sometimes I have it with something fruity, sometimes the coffee with the fruit/chocolate/caramel notes by itself is the perfect way to finish an evening. For a latte, it is especially delicious with the vanilla/honey/cinnamon syrup recipe that Talking Crow posted on Instagram around Valentine’s Day. So good!
